I hope to retire soon, and many people are asking about my plans. Basically I want to do lots of travel, say involved in academia, and perhaps do some writing.

This is a personal blog, about how Covid lockdown has affected me. In practical terms I’m much better off than many people I know, but I still find that lockdown life has lost a lot of its “fizz” and become “flat”.

This is a personal blog. My son visited home after spending 6 months in a residential special-needs school because of lockdown. It was wonderful to see him again, and I took a few photos of his time at home.
